Jaseungcha Blueprint

Jaseungcha, which is similar to an automatic water pump, was invented in 1810 by Gunam whose intention was to help farming areas to overcome drought.

Jaseungcha works based on the velocity of the river which is almost same with the contemporary principle of waterpower generation.

Since it is based on a number of scientific principles, to produce Jaseungcha was possible only having extensive knowledge about fluid mechanics.

The reason why Gunam named it Jaseungcha was the machine follows the trait of water.
